Wednesday 23rd November, 2017 Partly cloudy
I had a wonderful time today! My classmates and I joined a lot of different activities and competitions on our School Sports Day. We had loads of fun.
First, we arrived at the stadium by bus. An hour later, the long jump event started, the competitors ran and jumped onto the sand,
reaching the ground with a thump. I came in the third place in that event. After that, I had a rest.
The next event I joined on that day was the three-legged race. My partner and I tied both of our legs and we were off!
My class cheered for us but we came in the second place.
After the three-legged race, I finally joined the 100m race. I had to compete against the fastest kids in grade 4.
I knew I wasn’t’ the fastest runner in the school, so I did not think that I would win the race.
The announcer said, ‘Get, set, go!’ I ran as quickly as I could. But the other kids saw how slow I was, so they slowed down.
In my mind, I thought this could be my chance. Therefore, I ran super fast before they knew it. I was the first place!
I was very happy because I beat myself. I hope I can join more events on Sports Day next year.

Thank you for your email. I don’t have a happy school life at my new school.
I joined the football team at school. I was late because I didn’t set the alarm clock. The coach felt angry. He asked me to be on time.
He said, ‘You shouldn’t be dirty. You must be clean.’ I felt embarrassed. I was rude to other teammates. They didn’t want to play with me
because I was rude to my classmates.
I think I really need to change my bad habits in order to have a happy school life. I will be on time, be clean and be kind to my classmates.
